What leaves your phone

What Nomer receives, when, and who else handles it. We don't sell your data. AI processing only with your OK.

When you report spam

  • The number, the time and the message. Screenshots and voicemails only when you share them.
  • If you use iPhone's Report button, iPhone sends the report to our gateway on Cloudflare. It forwards the sender, the time, the message text and your device's report token.

Your account

  • You sign in with Apple. Apple shares your name and email, or a private relay address if you choose one.
  • You verify your phone number by sending us a text from your iPhone. Our texting provider, Telnyx, delivers it.

Your details for letters

  • The first time you ask for a letter or a request to stop, you add your name, home address and home state.

AI help, only with your OK

  • With your OK, the screenshots, message text and voicemails you share go through OpenRouter to an AI model provider, to find numbers, dates and what was said. They're set not to use it for training.
  • Without your OK, nothing goes to AI and you fill in the details yourself. You confirm every fact either way.
  • With Plus, a voicemail you share also goes to a voice-check service that looks for a likely AI voice.

Checking a number

  • To give our verdict on a number, we look it up with Telnyx and with caller-reputation services. They get the number only.

When you send a letter

  • The company sees your name, your home address as the return address, your phone number and the evidence pages.
  • If we mail it for you, PostGrid prints and mails it.

Payments

  • Apple bills Plus. Mailing a letter is paid with Apple Pay or a card through Stripe, so we never see your full card number.

Apple

  • Sign in with Apple, purchases and notifications go through Apple.

App usage

  • A few events, like “report created”, linked to a random ID, in PostHog. Never message text, numbers or names.

Where it's stored

  • Supabase hosts our database and file storage.

Never collected

  • Contacts, location, call history, your microphone and photos you don't pick. No ads, no tracking across apps, nothing sold.

This website

  • No analytics or ads. Cloudflare hosts the site and runs Turnstile, a bot check, on the pilot form.
  • The pilot form's answers go to our database on Supabase, with a salted hash of your IP address instead of the address, to limit repeat sign-ups.

Your choices

  • Export your data or delete your account anytime in Settings.
  • To leave the pilot list, email support@getnomer.app.
